Unlikely 148-Pitch No Hitter, Giants Up to Old Tricks Again?

The will of the person to succeed is strong, but sometimes the body is not as strong, and a little boost is all they need to get to the top. Perhaps this is a struggling person, who is looking for some sort of big breakthrough to live out his dream and take care of his family, is he evil if he were to give in to temptation that are performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs)?

Lincecum says he wasn't tired after 148 pitches

Sorry but something, again, doesn't smell right with the #San Francisco Giants. As in the past, after a bad streak, the #Giànts suddenly and magically get better. The team starts hitting , the pitchers pitching - and now a no hitter from #Tim Lincecum, his first, on an astounding 148 pitches! This from a little guy who couldn't normally get past the sixth inning. When was his last complete game? And he says he wasn't even tired after this historic game, the first no hitter ever pitched in #San Diego Petco Park on this July 14.

Sure you can say the Padres are a patsy and have lost 14 of 15, but these were all on the road except for the three latest with the Giànts- and San Diego had most of its injured regulars back in the lineup . And it's  middle lineup has a .300 lifetime average against Lincecum. Sure the Giànts get a lot of fans in San Diego but that's still not a home field advantage. Even Hunter Pence, cold as ice the past three weeks had five RBIs and Sandoval is suddenly hitting. No doubt Tim Lincecum, who's never been adverse to using artificial stimulants, was pissed off at their losing streak, along with his fellow Giants, as well as recently being no hit themselves, so Tim probably got in his head that  he could throw a no hitter himself, whatever it takes, even   in a season where he has a   4.26 ERA and  not even  complete game or much  more than 100 pitches pitched.

And it's very interesting that this no hitter occurred on a day then Giants latest  acquisition, Jeff  Franquer came in from - you guessed it- Kansas City. Kansas City has long been Brian Sabean's favorite team (almost the exclusive team) with which he deals. Virtually every new player in recent years has come to the Giants by way of or thru  KC. One-fifth - 11 - of all player suspensions since 2005 are   Venezuelans (Wikipaedia)    - and these  are   players who've been having career years as soon as coming to Giànts, namely Blanco, Mijares, Machi and, especially Scutaro, who has hit well over .300 since coming to Giànts and has cut his strikeouts in half, even whole being injured. Scutaro is 37 and never hit above .299 even in his prime until meeting up with his countrymen like Cabrera , before he was suspended from the Giants. Sandoval went on an amazing streak the end of last year with seven - many massive - homers the last few weeks after Scutaro , Mijares and Blamvo and Mijares came along . Even shortstop Crawford started hitting well above his average after Scutaro joined the team and playing next to him.  Scutaro.  Sandoval, along with Pagan, Casia and others ,while maybe not ALL coming over from KC have perhaps benefited from their new friends.Lincecum, no hitter, Giants, #no hitter, #lincecum

Much like Bonds and friends a decade ago, and still under Sabean's watch, it all seems very incestuous . Remember  Bonds years where guys like Aurilea, Williams, Alfonzo and Santangelo, Santiago, Estrella and Bernard all benefitted - and were later indicted (not suspended)  in the Michell report- for what was their  likely associationwith Bonds. I even recall an interview -which most forget or never heard when it didn't mean much - with Bonds back   around 2002,  when he promised to pass on his 'secrets' of his new found success to fellow players. Wish  I could find that tape.

And now, it's almost like Francoeur brings SOMETHING to  the team - literally- and they're off and running again ala 2010 and 2012  .  Hopefully, we're wrong about this - and Francoeur isn't from Venezuela - but why would the Sabean sign a guy who hit only .208 last year and .235 the year before to the World Champion Giants unless he had some ulterior motives up his sleeve, ie  Remember the Giànts were just treading water around .500 and the Guillen came over with his 'package' and the Giànts had their best month before MLBcomvinced the Giants to keep the once convicted Guillen off the playoff  team. But by now seemingly everyone was benefiting from Guillen!s likely gifts . There was Ross hitting his eight homers and guys like Uribe  and Renteria suddenly becoming world beaters.  suddenly the pitching staff got hotter. In 2012 the pattern was the same when Mijares and Scutaro came in mid season , the  latter to hit over .350 , which suddenly triggered Sandoval and the Giànts
to have their best month in September.

And now just when the  Giants are having their worst streak in years they suddenly and magically bounce back again. Whether Francoeur really had anything to do with it is questionable but by now the Giànts have become    infested  with PEDs, after a decade of deceit, just  like   Victor  Contre  warned  us - in this permissive era where 'new ' MLB drug testing hasn't busted a single player this year after only busting two Giànts , one Athletic and one other  last year.

Then Giants won their two World Series in three years with virtually two completely different teams but lots of ex -KC / Venezuelan players and the same system of bringing in 'infected' players of questionable backgrounds, Pitcher Chad Gaudin is just the latest such example - and besides his newsworthy 'hospital visit'  suddenly pitching way below his lifetime 4.0+ ERA.   It will be interesting to see if Sabean can dig up any more 'Gaudins' or  Scutaros  Watch your eye on Francouer and if he improves on that .225 average of the past two seasons at Kansas City. .But perhaps there's already enough ' juice' flowing in the Giants clubhouse.

Unlikely 148-Pitch No Hitter, Giants Up to Old Tricks Again?

Now, for the final 'Connect the dots....'  We didn't want to have to go into this, hoping things would get better and the Giants would finally clean up its PED act...but it's already been in the news yet few probably saw this just like the implicating interview with Bonds back in 2002. We report this  just to hammer home with all the evidence  of unfair play, lest people continue to pass off the Giants as  legit. Here it is:

A now retired Giant recently interviewed by the Salt Lake  Times told how he was encouraged by a Coach in the Giànts minor league system to use PEDs to help his flagging career.  This was no doubt an isolated incident , especially after what we've seen  ane the type of players the Giànts have brought in. o have a player , albeit ex Giant , actually admit to this is very telling. What more  do we need to connect the final dots. Baseball has devolved and San Francisco is the epicenter of devolution. If you really enjoy this type of baseball its a sad day for all concerned, at least for us fans who grew up with and remember the 'Golden Era' of baseball and the Mays and McCoveys when we didn't have to try to figure out who was or who wasn't taking PEDs. We thought there was still hope but  it doesnt look like the 'Win at all costs' Giànts are going to go anything about it. Afterall, they've been at their shenanigans for so long, and the folks in liberal San Francisco, or the MLB powers aren't doing anything about it. Certainly Larry Baer  doesn't want to break  that consecutive  sellout  streak... which might have been in jeopardy after these past few weeks . (In fact I noticed large blocks of empty seats but the Giants have continued to calling all the games 'sellouts.') It will take  a move now from above now , it would appear,, ie the commissioner, which may be a long shot. It's been over 10 years and ,yes, we believe , in our opinion PEDs are now as rampant as ever on the Giànts.  So, stand up  local sportswriters or just keep living the lie you   know and saw manifest  itself again in Lincecums unlikely 148 pitch no hitter.*

*Last guys to pitch no hitters with lose to this many pitches blew out there arms, one being Johann Santana with 136 pitches. Perhaps the onc e fragile Lincecum is now bionic and the giants untouchable.

LOOKING BACK... SANDOVAL’S UNWORLDLY POST SEASON NUMBERS QUESTIONED

SANDOVAL’S UNWORLDLY POST SEASON NUMBERS QUESTIONED

GIANTS UP

#PED

LEVELS for

SERIES? -

SANDOVAL

HITS 3 IN 1 GAME , already 6 in Post Season

9-25-12

After hitting only 12 homeruns all year, San Francisco Giants’ Pablo Sandoval has already half his entire year’s output in in 11 games and just over 50 at bats. That’s 1 homerun per every 8 at bats! Unheard of! Even Babe Ruth didn’t touch those numbers.  #PEDs, #SANDOVALPEDS, SANDOVAL PEDS,Tim Lincecum, Venezuela, Victor Conte, World Series, Giants, #Giants,

And last night’s three in one game coming off the premier pitcher in baseball in a tough hitter’s park (ATT). PLEASE! Even if this is somehow a fluke, it’s no fluke that the entire Giants team is hitting well up from their season average, which was high to begin with – especially in the second half. When you have a 37 year old journeyman player like Marco Scutero suddenly hitting .360 over half a season and .400 in the playoffs – he never hit over .299 during his best years- you have to wonder. …Sandoval, San Francisco Giants #PEDs, Tim Lincecum, Venezuela, Victor Conte, World Series, Giants, #Giants, #lincecum, #SFGiants, #Steroids,

Even more amazing is that Scutaro has only struck  out one one time in his 50 plus at bats during the playoffs. And then, there are Pagan, Blanco, Belt and even Crawford all hitting .20 to .50 points higher than last year or improved their extra bases significantly . And the pitching… Casilla, Mijares and now even the weakest starters like Zito, Vogelsong and Lincecum are dominating the other teams, much like Giants pitchers did uring the 2010 playoffs and world series… Only some of the names have been changed. But, it’s nothing new for the Giants. In fact it’s very reminiscent of 2010 when the newsly acquired Cody Ross hit 8 homeruns during the last month of the season and in the playoffs – and the entire team started hitting like crazy after a mediocre year until then… Torres, Uribe, Renteria… Remember? A bunch of mediocre players suddenly hitting like Bate Ruth! And the pitching… Guys who never did anything before, guys named Casilla, Ramirez and Mota suddenly becoming world beaters… And it’s happening again, only with some different names .

2011 would have been the same except for some key season ending injuries to Brian Wilson and Buster Posey. Figured it out yet? Well we’lll help you. Starting with Barry Bonds, the Giants have made steroids and PEDs acceptable in baseball – well, at least in liberal San Francisco . Only in San Francisco could Bonds remain a hero – we was almost brought back as a coach. San Francisco fans don’t seem to mind, nor do management. Get a player cheap other teams don’t want. So what if he’s got a questionable record, like Melky Cabrera in Atlanta . So what if he’s been on three teams in three years, often a teltale sign, like Melky or Scutaro. With so much juice running rampant in the home of Balco and Victor Conte, getting the PED of choice is not a problem, whether testosterone or whatever – and there’s probably enough already in the locker room. Heard of the ‘cockroach theory’? YOu see one and then you see a lot more. In 2010 it was Jose Guillen who ignited the fire. After he came (and was subsequently banned by baseball for banned substances found in his mail after one previous drug violation that was enough to set off the rest of the Giants. Their hitting literally doubled the last months of the season. This year it was Melky – or Moto – who may have brought the goods and Scutaro -who came to the team just before fellow Venezuelan Cabrera was let go – was the apparent key benefactor. GET IT? The stats are there… every Giant in the lineup is hitting over .270 for the year except Hunter Pence, who just got here after Melky, but is still contriubuting with RBIs and Brandoon Crawford , who has still upped his average 25 points. And now we have Sandoval – who wasn’t necessarily your classic user prototype, but now one must even wonder about him. Only Buster Posey might be clean, but then… Nah….SEE MORE STATS BELOW @ http://bayareacoupons.info/blog

2012 SF Giants Reminiscent of 2010 World Series Champions

2012 SF Giants Reminiscent of

2010 World Series Champions

News that the Giants cut the cord with the Melkman for the playoffs was not so surprising.  If they resigned yet another PED (performance enhancing  durgs) player it would look bad, especially after the way Cabrera
walked out on the Giants and played politics after that. ‘
Besides, the Giants have more than enough other PED players on the team to more than fillthe void, Pretty strong words, right? Well , just look at the numbers.
The Giants are a virtual carbon copy of the 2010 world series team, filled with unlikely players who have suddenly come into big numbers after the All Star break, and not so coincidentally after getting to know Cabrera and his bag of tricks.
The biggest ‘surprise’ is marco scutaro, a player who has never hit over .299 in a long career, who is hitting around .350 in over 200 at bats since meeting Cabrera and the Jints. He is 37, an age when most players are retired or at least slowing down; he is suddenly having
his best half season in a non-hitters ball park. He’s even hitting for some power here; surprising he couldn’t do it in the Colorado hitter’s ballpark.  I doubt Colorado would have literally given him away to Giants if they didn’t know something, or knew that his career was REALLY
over, sans ‘secret sauce.’
But, perhaps, the biggest tip-off is that Scutaro, reportedly, had only
eight, count ‘em, eight swing and misses since joining the Giants in those 200+ at batsas of late September, contrasting to about 40 strikeouts through early August at Colorado. It is said that one of the main benefits of PEDs is increased vision and hand-eye coordiationi.

Then, you have Angel Pagan, batting .291 with 36 doubles in the same large ballpark. Doublesmeans power -where did it suddenly come from?. Pagan is no spring chicken either. Sure he
had some good years in his prime but last year had dropped to .262 with 7 homers and 24 doublesand he’s alredy got 8 homers and 36 doubles in the larger San Francisco ballpark … Infield Arias is even a worse scenario than Pagan. He’s never batted over .250 in a full
season in the majors and now, sudenly we see him at .272 and coming out of the blue, playing like Andres Torrez suddenly did in 2010, again, in a big ballpark, unfriendly to  hitters.
We can go on. there’s Hector Sanchez,. Blanco and even Belt, all suddenly having their best seasons. In fact the only player in the starting lineup not hjtting over .270  is Hunter Pence.. and he just got here.. and never got to meet the Melkman and his bag of tricks. But give him time. … there’s still Mota. It might not be too late
.. and as for the pitchers, we haven’t
talked about Casia, another Latin player, who’s become a strikeout king since joining the Giants. We know about Mota, and don’t be surprised to see him doing same if he decides to go back to the ‘secret sauce.’
It’s really interesting how the Giants are paralleling the 2010 team. Only difference is that instead of a late season acquisition keying the team, ala  Jose Guillen, ‘helping’ the team with his own brand
of secret sause, the Giants have had  most of the eason the  benefit of the Melkman and his sauce, and when he got booted they had Scutaro in tow to literally fill in Cabrera’s  numbers – and the Giants have even improved since then! So, like 2010 when the team usually would slow down during the ‘dog days’ the Giants actually got very hot, with perhaps the best record in baseball since the allstar break!
Likely most of the newfound successes, especially among Latin players have come as a result of getting to know the Milkman. Like Scutaro, remember how Cody Ross came along as late season acquisition to suddenly hit with unheard of numbers after meeting Guillen
(before he was dismissed) and fellow Giants. Meanwhile, guys named Huff, Burl, Torrez and Uribe were suddenly having career seasons, not to mention pitchers like Ramirez, Mota, Casia and maybe even Wilson – and surprising playoffs! Intereseting to see
players like Huff, Burl, Uribe and Torrez all see their numbers drop off dramatically after the one big year, as drug testing toughened in 2011.
Note how little shock and dissappointment there was among the team players upon learning about Cabrera’s actions, even after his cover-up episode. . And, then Mota was even brought back, right after the Cabreara
dismissal,  something that surprised a lot of local sportswriters. . And, the Giants would probably  have brought back Cabrera, too, if he had just handled things a little better. Plus, they don’t seem to need him anymore.
So, you’ve got one solid player on the giants, Buster Posey  We feel he’s legit. Beyond that,  it’s 2010 and the Barry Bonds era continuing , sans homeruns at AT&T, on a team that reflects it’s city’s
liberal image, insisting players like Mota should be given not a second but third chance.
Think about it, or don’t, like most of the young giants’ fans. It’s a different era where anything goes. Win at any cost and if MLB will look the other way, what the heck. Take advantage Sabean.
Sabean knows that MLB will not police the players so the Giants continue towardsthe playoffs ala 2010, replete with ‘Breakfast of Champions.2012 SF Giants Reminiscent of 2010 World Series Champions
